Ana Miranda

Ana Miranda, 103, of East Providence, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on March 20, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Antonio P. Barbosa Vicente.  Born in Fogo, Cape Verde, she was a daughter of the late Maria Miranda.  

Mrs. Miranda was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves her loving children: Estela B. Alves & her (late) husband Manuel of Cape Verde, Angela B. Gibau & her husband Antonio of East Providence, Filipe B. Vicente & his wife Elsa of East Providence, Aleluia B. Vicente & her husband Joao of East Providence, and the late Joao B. Vicente, Luis B. Vicente, Malaquias B. Vicente, & Estavao B. Vicente.  Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  She was the sister of Francisca Miranda Lopes of Cape Verde and the late Joaquim Miranda, Quina Miranda, & Vital Miranda.  

Visitation will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. in the DARLINGTON MORTUARY of L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.  Burial will follow in Rumford Cemetery.
