Anita Yvonne Jackson was born June 22, 1959, in Providence, Rhode Island to Betty (Brooks) Jackson-Duquid and the late Dale E. Jackson. Her Sister, Crystal L. Jackson, preceded her in death.
Anita passed away suddenly and peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Rhode Island Hospital.
Anita was so loving and kind to everyone who she came in contact with. If she could do something for you--No problem was ever too great or too small. She was loved by so many in her lifetime. Easy going and people oriented.
Anita was a perfectionist regarding her clothes, hair, feet and looks. She wanted the best for all she knew, her family first-especially her daughter. Rayne (Her Dog!!!)
She became a Master Welder, Instructor at the Steel Yard specializing in Mig, Tig, Arc and Aluminum Welding. Some of her works is located throughout Providence and she received many citations and certificates from The Steel Yard and Rhode Island State Council On The Arts.
Anita is survived by her mother-Betty (Brooks) Jackson-Duguid, one sister, Pricilla A. Jackson, Portsmouth, R.I, one Step-Brother, Anthony Duguid, Virginia, 4 Uncles, Richard Brooks, Robert Brooks, Gregory Brooks and Everett Brooks, all of Rhode Island. Special Sister-Cousin, Renee Jackson-McClain, Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nephews, Great- Niece, one Great-Great Nephew and one Great-Great Niece and 3 Special Godchildren.
A host of many, many cousins, family members and friends throughout the United States, all will miss her dearly with many fond memories.
