Mrs. Barbara Ann (Prince) Middleton was born on March 23, 1952, in Stewart County, Lumpkin, Georgia to Ethel Mae (Banks) Williams and her late father Isaac Williams, Sr.
Barbarba departed her life on earth and entered eternal life with God on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at her private residence.
Bobbie, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was a member of the St. Martin De Porres. She was a devoted caregiver whose kindness and love touched everyone around her. She was always looking after the children in her life, and if anyone needed a babysitter, she was only a phone call away.
Bobbie had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special, loved, and welcomed. She often showed her affection by giving each child a unique nickname that reflected the bond she shared with them. Bobbie also loved good food and treasured time spent with family and friends, and she could always be found enjoying herself at a cookout surrounded by those she loved most.
Barbara was preceded in life by her husband Benjamin Middleton, Sr, her son Benjamin Middleton, Jr., three brothers Charles Williams, Issac Williams and David Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory: her two sons, Danny Bowers and Alonzo Middleton (Tonya) of Providence, RI. Two sisters, Emma Jones of Providence, RI and Geraldine Patterson (Douglas) of Dallas, GA. Her 19 grandchildren of Hartford, CT, Providence, RI and Columbia, MD, and 20 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
