Brian M. Murphy (Murf/Bobby) of Pawtucket unexpectedly died at home on December 25th. Raised in Norton, MA. He is a graduate of Southeaston Tech’s Mechanic Department.
Brian was predeceased by his wife, Susan "Sue" Murphy, of Pawtucket, RI, and his parents Kathleen "Katie" (Mahoney) Murphy of Holbrook, MA and Michael "Murph” Murphy of Midleboro, MA.
Brian is survived by son Austin Murphy of Conway, NH; Paulie Yodice jr. of Pawtucket, RI; Mariah Amaral of Berlin, NH; Chris Ryley of Pawtucket, RI; and Vincent Tootell of Lincoln, RI, Felecia Garcia of Taunton, MA.
Brian also leaves siblings Dawn Murphy of Seekonk, Leslie (Murphy) Brodeur of Westminster, VT, Breanna Wanning, Rick Wanning, stepmother Alyssa (McKinney) Murphy, of Salisbury, NC, many Aunts, Uncles and close friends.
Brian had a wide array of interests and hobbies that included mechanics, carpentry, snowmobiling, dirt biking and motorcycles. He especially loved teaching his boys about camping, cooking and taking them for motorcycle rides.
Every year Brian looked forward to going to Laconia's bike week, and attending Hampton Beach's Seafood Festival, with his wife Sue. Brian and Sue also enjoyed traveling to Northern Maine to visit friends, with future dreams of buying land to retire.
Brian prided himself at being a hard-working, and loyal family man. He enjoyed 14 years as a shop foreman at Boston Trailer, LLC in Bridgewater, where he will be greatly missed by the Boston Trailer Family.
Friends and family are invited to Brian’s visitation on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. in THE DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. Burial will be private.
