Charlotte Leona Scott

Charlotte Leona Scott (64), of Providence RI, unexpectedly transitioned on July 23,2024. She was born to Clara Ramos and Edwin H Elderkin, on March 26, 1960. She was an amazing woman who touched the lives of everyone who knew her and loved with a gracious open heart. She was a radiant woman who lit up a room with her beautiful smile. 

She is survived by her children’s father James Lewis Sr and her 5 children and spouses. Brandon, Ashley and Miguel, James Jr and ilyana, Malcolm and Sindy, Kia and William. 

She is also survived by her brothers, Atanasio (Tommy) Ramos, Joseph Ramos, Peter Ramos, Gary Elderkin, Eddie “White boy” Ramos, Shane Elderkin, Cheyenne Elderkin. Her sisters Roberta Santucci, Denise Pion, Mary Gama, Nina Ramos, Theresa Ramos, Ann Ramos, Valerie Johnson and Mendi Freeman. 

She is predeceased by her loving mother and father, her son Eric Lewis, her brother Edwin H Elderkin Jr and her sister’s Christine Ramos, Claire Ramos, and Priscilla Elderkin Lee. 

Throughout her life, she was a beacon of love, kindness, and strength to all who knew her. She will also be remembered for her wittiness. She dedicated her life to family, always thinking of others before herself. She cherished being a grandmother to her 13 grandchildren. Janaius, Eric, Brandon “B3”, Aniyah, Angeli, Jania, Kaliyani, Nehemiah, Mia, Alanna, Safira, Giovanni, Milo’Angelo and soon to be born 14th grandchild. They will forever remember her warm hugs, her beautiful embrace and guidance. She will forever be deeply missed, but always remembered for her divine essence. 

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday July 29, 2024, at 11am. Friends and family are welcomed to honor her memory and share stories that brought love and joy to our lives.
