Claudette Pauline (Lynch) Weeden, 90, of Conway SC passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024.
She was born on March 23, 1934, to Alric Lynch and Sylvia Saxon Crum. Claudette was lifelong resident of Rhode Island until 2021 when she moved to Conway, SC to live with her daughter (Deborah Rezendes).
Claudette was employed at several companies as a welder and jewelry technician before retiring to care for her grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing, good food which she often cooked and spending time with family. Claudette also enjoyed going for ling drives and going to the beach. She was a good swimmer in her younger years. Additionally, Claudette enjoyed fine clothing and loved dressing up. It was a must to look good.
Claudette was preceded in death by her late ex-husband Otis S. Weeden (MA). She was also preceded in death by her late siblings: Robert Lynch, Daphney Varela and
Mary (Bibi) Gomes. She was the mother of the late Sylvia Lee Gibson and the grandmother of the late Brittney Gibson and the late Richard Gibson.
Claudette leaves behind four daughters: Deborah Rezendes (SC), Daphney Walker (DE), Stephanie Gibson (MA) and Francine Gibson (AZ) and seven grandchildren: Trina Rezendes (GA) Juan Gibson (RI) Dwayne Gibson (RI) Troy Gibson (NV) Tiffany Gibson (RI) Serena Walker (DE) and Joshua Gibson (AZ). Claudette leaves behind 23 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
