Corey "Boo" Towns Obituary

Corey Terrell Towns affectionately known as “Boo” was born April 22, 1990, to Corey Towns and Christal Clanton Towns in Raleigh, North Carolina. He departed this life on June 05, 2024, in Providence Rhode Island.

Corey and Christal were blessed to welcome Boo as their first child. Boo was preceded in death by his loving and devoted Grandparents: Odell Perry, Edward C. Towns, Jr., Robert Clanton, Sr. and William and Linda Crumel.

Boo gave his life to Christ at an early age at his home church, Christ Holiness Church #1 in Wake Forest, NC. He loved God and would always encourage you to keep God first in all you do. Boo showed his love for Christ through his actions. Boo believed in having a good time and had a way to bring peace and laughter to every situation.

Boo is a proud 2008 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School in Providence Rhode Island and studied at Rhode Island College which led him to be an innovative entrepreneur. He proudly owned and operated Dripped Out Detailing. Customers always thanked Boo for his ability to make their car look brand new inside and out. Boo took his time to detail every car with excellent care.

Boo was known as the king of dressing. He took pride in matching his clothes, shoes, and fitted caps. Boo gave tips on dressing to his friends and family. Boo had a love for all genres of music. He often felt like he was the best soloist around. Boo had a love for all sports as his favorite NBA team was the Boston Celtics. Football Sunday always brought peace to Boo where he would love talking trash about everybody’s favorite team. His all-time favorite television sitcom was Martin; he knew every line and could quote various episodes at any given moment.

Boo’s most special moments included time spent with his family, especially his three beautiful girls. Boo was extremely happy and excited as he anticipated the birth of his first son, Tatum. Boo’s greatest joy was being a father who loved and protected his children. Boo always reminded his family of the importance of getting together and loving one another. He truly was the life of every party.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother Christal Clanton Towns of Smithfield, North Carolina, and his father Corey Towns(Tammy) of Providence Rhode Island; His three daughters, Namyrah Towns, Jayani Towns, Ava Towns, and his one and only newborn son Tatum Towns; His loving fiancée Katrina James; his brothers Damon Towns, Jordan Towns, Grayson Towns, and Corey Towns(CJ); his sisters Alexia Towns, Aliyah Towns, and Kordae Towns, his bonus brothers, Jose Small, and Robless Small all of Providence Rhode Island, his grandmother Annette Towns whom he always called Nana of Providence Rhode Island and his bonus Grandmother Cora Clanton of Rocky Mount, NC, a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, family, and friends in North Carolina, Rhode Island, and Tennessee.

Boo will always be remembered for his goofy personality, beautiful smile, unfailing love towards family and friends, high energy level, and always being the peace in the middle of the storm. Boo always encouraged others to use their full potential and be the best version of themselves
