Edward Joseph Delgardo

Edward Delgardo, 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Edward was born on December 16, 1952, in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the beloved son of the late Hattie Mae (Hazard) Delgardo and John N. Delgardo Sr.

In the 1970s, Edward proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he worked for many years as a skilled toolmaker at Tel Cast Corp. and Marshall & Williams, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and craftsmanship.

Outside of work, Edward enjoyed fishing and had a lifelong love for dogs. He cherished spending time with his family and friends and will be remembered for his kind heart and the many memories he created with those who loved him.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie Mae (Hazard) Delgardo and John N. Delgardo Sr., and his sister, Cheryl A. Powell (Delgardo).

He is survived by his children: Keisha Bush and her husband, Auston Bush; Edward Delgardo Jr.; and Sandra Delgardo. He also leaves behind five grandchildren: Kaylee Delgardo, Lauren Delgardo, Fendi Delgardo, Edward Delgardo III, and Auston L. Bush Jr., as well as five great-grandchildren.

Edward is also survived by his brother, John N. Delgardo Jr. (Butch), along with many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Edward will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
