Elaine J. Sousa

Elaine J. Sousa, 74, of Attleboro, died peacefully on September 15, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital.  Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late John I. Loux and Jeannette L. (Cusson) Loux.

Elaine was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in nursing homes and private duty until her retirement.  She was a kind, generous person who loved helping others and loved animals.  

She leaves her loving children: Melanie L. Dubois & her husband David of Pawtucket and Rocco A. Sousa of Attleboro.  Cherished grandmother of Davis J. Dubois of Pawtucket and loving sister of Jacqueline A. Schultz of Van Buren, ME Cynthia E. Loux of Van Buren, ME, and the late Christine J. Walton.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket.  Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
