Frank J. Britto Jr., lovingly known as “Johnny B,” passed away on April 3,2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion.
Born on November 10, 1969, in Rhode Island, to Frank Britto and Wanda Bliss.
Frank spent part of his early working years in Bensenville, Illinois, beginning his career at just 16. He later returned to Rhode Island, where he worked alongside his father as a Lead Foreman for a regional manufacturing assembly company. He remained dedicated to his work until he became disabled.
As a young man, Frank was known for his positive spirit and kind heart. He built lasting friendships and had a deep love for sports, especially hockey.
His faith was an important part of his life—he was a devoted Christian who actively participated in his church youth group and Awana programs.
One of his proudest moments was being part of an Awana Olympic competition team that won a gold medal championship in Canada.
Frank’s warm smile, generous nature, and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He was always ready to offer support, encouragement, and friendship, touching countless lives along the way.
He will be remembered always for his love, laughter, and the light he brought into the lives of his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Frank Britto and Wanda Bliss; his sister, Wenona Britto of Rhode Island; his children, including his son, David Israel Ben-Zion of Florida, and his daughters, Emily and Haley Britto of Rhode Island; his cherished grandsons; and many loving uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
