Iris Norma Lopez, age 75, of Pawtucket RI passed away on 1/30/2026 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She was born in 1950 in Bayamon Puerto Rico to Clotilde Lopez and Carmen Rodriguez.
Iris was a strong and funny woman who overcame many hurdles in her life but always welcomed her home to anyone. She was the best cook, a loyal Patriots fan, loved her scratch tickets and was an avid Bingo player.
Iris was preceded in death by her son Andy Pantojas. She is survived by her life partner Bonifacio Montanez and her 5 living children: Lissette Rivera, Jose Rivera (Sandra Rivera), Diana Lopez (Yanixalie Garcia), Nayda Martes (Jose Chapman) and Iris Pantojas. She has 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Iris was loved by everyone who knew her.
With hearts grounded in faith and gratitude, we remember Iris Norma Lopez, who was called home to be with the Lord, surrounded by love. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose strength, grace, and compassion touched all who knew her. Her life reflected a quiet faith and a deep love for family, always offering comfort, prayer, and kindness to those around her.
Though her passing leaves a deep ache in our hearts, we find peace in knowing she now rests in God’s eternal embrace, reunited with her beloved son, and free from pain and suffering. Her legacy lives on through the love she shared, the memories she created, and the faith she passed down to those she cherished most.
