Jacinto Tameles passed away on April 1, 2026, at Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
He was born on February 6, 1957, in Cape Verde Island.
Jacinto later made his home in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, where he became a well-known and respected member of the community.
Jacinto was a dedicated employee at Primerica Insurance for many years, where he built lasting relationships and took pride in his work.
He was a lifelong New England Patriots fan and never missed a game. He enjoyed fishing and playing different types of music.
Known for his loving and generous spirit, Jacinto would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.
Jacinto was preceded in death by his parents, Abelamia Vasconcelos and Bert Little, as well as his siblings, Beatrice, Angela, and Frank.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Rita (Ramos) Tameles; his children, Lisa Tameles, Carlos Tameles, Adam Tameles, and Christina Tameles;
and his ten grandchildren: Antonio Batista, Isiah Batista, Julian Batista, Ayden Julius Tameles, Eliyas Tameles, Izel Manuel Dejesus, Izael Jonathan Dejesus, Aaliyah Marie Tameles, Naila Reign Dejesus, and Elias Abilio Dejesus.
Jacinto will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
