Michael W. Hull Sr. 66 of Providence, RI passed August 3,2025. He was the most Amazing Father and Papa.
Michael was a member of the Chappaquiddick Wampanoag Tribe, with the given name “Keeps the Fire”- a name that reflected the heart of who he was. Fire is a symbol of life, warmth, spirit, and continuity. To keep the fire means to preserve what is sacred, to carry wisdom forward, and to ensure that love and tradition never fade. That name fit Him perfectly.
Though Michael is no longer with us, his memory remains a light in our lives. We will carry the stories, the laughter, and the quiet moments we shared with him - a fire that continues to burn in every heart he touched. For him, his jazz music and being among family were the two pillars that gave meaning to his world. There was never a dull moment when he was around.
Michael received his diploma from Central High School to then he went on to complete the police academy. He quickly changed careers and began to pursue a career at Halls Institute of Technology. Receiving a degree in Civil Engineering and dedicating 35+ years to RIDOT.
Behind he leaves three children Ashley Hull, Michael Hull Jr. and Marissa Hull. Along with four grandchildren, Ciara Charoyn, Xyaire Benjamin-Hull, Mya Hull and Zakai Benajamin. The mother of his children Hilda Andrade, as well as her daughters Rene and Jeana to whom he shared a great part of his life with. He also leaves behind many brothers and sisters John S. Hickman, Karen D. Ofokansi, Arthur T. Hull, Richard A. Hull, Darren L. Hull, Valerie J. Perry, Crystal M. Pereira, Reynolds S., Jr.,Raymond A., and Ruth A. Hull, He will also be remembered by a host of nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Reynolds S., Sr. and Ruthann R. Hull, his grandparents, Robert T., Sr. and Hilda J. Hickman, his sister, Rebecca A. Stewart and his brother Clifton Hull.
