RJ Hill, 51, was born to the late Rosie Marie (Johnson) Hill and the late Riley Cheetum on December 12, 1972. He was called into eternal rest on December 4, 2024.
RJ was a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, he lived in several cities including Providence, Pawtucket, Newport and Woonsocket. He briefly lived in Fall River, MA and Saco, ME. He received his education in the Providence Public School System.
He was employed in many occupations during his lifetime including general labor, warehousing, fast food service and several other forms of employment throughout his life. One of the jobs he cherished most was working as a domestic and childcare giver to Micah and Isabella. RJ loved to cook. One of his greatest pleasures in life would be preparing a meal for family and friends to enjoy. He enjoyed spending time in the company of his family and friends, sharing good food and laughter.
He was proceeded in death by his mother and father along with his brother Levert Hill.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his brother Ronald Hill of Providence; his sisters Gwendolyn Hill of Washington and Deboriah Corbera of Providence; his uncles: Marshall Johnson III (Geneva) of Providence, Johnny Johnson (Vivian) of Warwick, Willie Johnson of Pawtucket, Shannon Johnson of Columbus, GA; his aunts: Lillie Mae Adeniyi and Margaret Johnson both of Columbus, GA. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
RJ will be greatly missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
