Rene Tessier Obituary

Rene R. Tessier, 96, of Attleboro, died peacefully on July 22, 2024 at West Shore Health Center. He was the loving husband of Adelaide E. (Barcelos) Tessier. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Joseph Tessier & Gertrude (Gadbois) Tessier.

Mr. Tessier was employed as an inspector with the former Union Wadding Company in Pawtucket until his retirement. He was a Communicant of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church in Attleboro.

In addition to his dear wife Adelaide, and multiple family members, he leaves behind his sister-in-law Arlete Gomes, nephew Mark Gomes, nieces Whitney Sanchez, Sonia Gomes and cousin Joanna Snow.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the DARLINGTON MORTUARY of L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM in St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
