Robert (Robby) Anthony Carpenter

Robert Carpenter, age 58, peacefully entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 17, 2025.  He was born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Robert Hill and Jane Isabelle (Jordan) Carpenter. 

Robert leaves to cherish his memories: four sisters, Edith (Precious) Jones, Valerie Carpenter, Barbara Jean (Carpenter) Ellis and Christine Carpenter and three (2) brothers, Michael Carpenter and David Lee Carpenter and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was the brother of the late Gilbert (Pookey) Carpenter and John Henry Carpenter.  

Robert lived his life on his own terms and didn’t worry about what others would think.  He mostly enjoyed family gatherings and watching old western movies with his life-long partner Denise Moore.  He was well loved by his family and friends.  Additionally, Robert always greeted others with a smile and offered a helping hand when others were in need.  He will be missed deeply by all whose lives he has touched.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Darling Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI, on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 4:15 PM.  The repast to follow immediately after the service at the American Legion, 2 Salem St, Providence, RI.

In life we loved you dearly.  In death we will do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone for part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories. Your love is still our guide.

And though we cannot see you, you’ll always be by our side.

Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.

But as God calls us one by one, that chain will link again”.
