Roberta C. Hokanson

Roberta C. Hokanson, 76, of Pawtucket, died January 23, 2023 at Riverview Healthcare Center.  She was the wife of the late Carl E. Hokanson.  Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late John F. Beland and Claire H. (Gingras) Beland.

Mrs. Hokanson was employed as a teacher’s aide at Tolman High School for many years until her retirement.  She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting, crocheting, and knitting. 

She leaves her children: Michael J. Dacier and his wife Becky of Clearwater, FL, Robert T. Dacier of Pawtucket, Christopher Dacier of Clearwater, FL, and Jason K. Dacier of Clearwater, FL.  Cherished grandmother of Megan, Kyle, Christopher, Mariah, Mellissa, and great-grandmother of Josiah.  She was the sister of Gregory J. Beland of Pawtucket, Gail B. Peterson of North Providence, Jacquline M. DeLange of Seekonk, and Cheryl C. Deceseare of Coventry. 

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
