Ruth "Ruthie" Roberta Watts

Ruth "Ruthie" Roberta Watts, 84, of Fayetteville, North Carolina passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024.  She was the loving wife of the late Russell P. Watts, Jr.

Born on November 28, 1939, she was the daughter of the George James Sr. and Lillian Jones James.

Ruth was a lifelong resident of Rhode Island until moving to Fayetteville, NC in 2019.

Before her illness she had a passion for dancing.  She was the life of the party.  Ruthie enjoyed teaching her grandchildren the latest dance.  She took to the floor to show her dancing skills.  She also loved to swim and joyed her time with family and friends. Ruth worked as a CNA for the RI Medical Center, Bannister House for 37 years retiring in 2012.  She was a former member of American Legion Post 69.
