Samuel L Leslie 67, of Providence, Rhode Island, was born on January 9, 1958 in Valdosta, Georgia. He passed peacefully, at Crystal Lake Rehabilitation Center on November 26, 2024. Worked for Electric Boat Company for a few years, then continued his work career as a security guard for many companies for a few years before his early retirement. His favorite past times were fixing cars and gadgets, cutting hair. Listening to music and playing musical instruments, bass guitar, sax and the drums. He played in a few local bands but loved to play for himself and play his own songs and his own type of music. Samuel, (Sam) proceded in death, his wife, Annie L. Mcfarland, son Samuel L McFarland (Sam-Sam), father Nealy Jasper Leslie Sr., mother Mary Elizabeth Holliman Leslie, brother Nealy Jasper Leslie Jr. He leaves behind one daughter Leticia Lisa Lee (Ahmand Sullivan) of North Providence, RI. 2 grand-daughters, 1 grand-son and 2 great grand sons. Three Brothers: Ralph K Leslie (Sharon Leslie) of WPB FL, Lamar C Leslie, of Albany, GA Dwight Blocker, of Miami Fl. Two Sisters: Rachel G Leslie of Jacksonville, Fl and Linda M Agoro (Adekunle Agoro) of Cranston, RI. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
