Theresa Silva

Theresa Silva was born on June 05, 1940, in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Santiago Rivera and Justina Morales. She transitioned from this life on February 11, 2025, at Berkshire Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loved ones.

Theresa was a resident of New York & Rhode Island, for most of her life where she raised her 10 children. She was reunited with Francisco Medina for the last 23 years of her precious life.

Theresa was a devoted stay-at-home wife, mother, and grandmother, whose love and dedication to her family will always be remembered. She enjoyed the simple things in life, which included handmade craft décor, sewing, family cookouts, watching her family eat and enjoying good Spanish music which always brought a smile to her face. Daily you can find her watching her favorite novel as and favorite baseball team New York Yankees.

Theresa was proceeded in death by her parents Santiago Rivera and Justina Morales, son Luis Medina. Theresa leaves to cherish her memory her children Luz Gonzalez, Benigno Hernandez, Adrian Medina, Petra Medina, Carlo Medina, Francisco Medina, Rafael Silva, Barbara Silva and Jesus Silva, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
